For the 20+ teams who showed up at the Lake Sunapee Country Club on August 10 for the final chapter of the Quid Pro Bono Golf Tournament, the day was one for the ages. Hints of rain on the horizon never interrupted gameplay, and participants enjoyed the expansive greens of the golf course under abundant sunshine and a cooling breeze. Teams fought hard for the top prize; Frank Anderson, Gary Gilbert, Alex Minasian, and Dick Minasian emerged victorious thanks to a tiebreaker.
Todd Jacobson came within just a few feet of driving home in a brand new all-electric BMW i4 in the Planet Fitness Hole-in-One contest. Meanwhile Mike Pignatelli and Nicole LaFlamme took top honors in the the men’s and women’s longest drive of the day challenge.
We’d like to thank the planning committee, volunteers, sponsors, and donors who helped make the final Quid Pro Bono Golf Tournament a success! But most of all, we’d like to thank all the players, past and present, for taking part and supporting access to justice for more than 30 years.
